It has a quick release “turn and slide” lock above the lid which allows the top pot to be lifted for easy filling, without taking the feeder apart. The closure simply slides along the hanging bar & turns to lock.

The top flowerpot acts as a roof. It has a strong steel mesh to keep nuts safe from squirrels.

The flowerpot base funnels nuts against the mesh and provides excellent drainage.
