How it works:
Our Natural Slug and Snail Deterrent works in 3 ways, we like to call this - TRIPLE ACTION!.
1. Once crushed into shards our Natural Slug and Snail Deterrent becomes very sharp, so sharp for slugs infact, that they cannot crawl over it as it spikes and cuts into their tender foot.
2. Ceramic is naturally pourous and this works with slugs and snails mucus too. When a slug attempts to cross our deterrent, its mucus is absorbed into the ceramic shards which stops slugs and snails in their tracks.
3. As the mucus is absorbed by the ceramic, the shards get stuck to the slug or snail causing it to be weighed down by the barrier itself.
All three actions work together to stop slugs and snail completely, leaving your plants safe and your garden wildlife happy!
Our Natural Slug and Snail Deterrent maintains the bio diversity in your garden (it does not kill any organisms like Slug Pellets do).
It has been developed for use in organic gardens and is fully rain proof.
